Step 1

First heat coconut oil in a vessel.

Step 2

Saute in the ginger and garlic for 2 minutes on low flame.

Step 3

Fry in the onion till it becomes light brown in colour.

Step 4

Add in the curry leaves, green chillies, chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt.

Step 5

Pour in the cocum pieces and required water and allow it to boil for 1 minute.

Step 6

Toss in the Mackerel fish and allow it to cook.

Step 7

Hotel fish curry is ready. Serve hot.
