Quick snack with left over idlis. Kids will love it.

Step 1

Crush the idlis with hand and then with finger tips as much as possible to loosen them up.

Step 2

Heat oil in a wok/kadai.

Step 3

Add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add urad dhal and asafoetida. Give it a nice stir.

Step 4

Add turmeric powder, required salt, onions, green chilies and curry leaves. Saute till the onions turn pink.

Step 5

Now add the crushed idlis and mix thoroughly.

Step 6

Add the chopped coriander leaves and give it a nice stir.

Step 7

Serve hot as an evening snack.

Step 8
