Step 1

Soak kadala for 7-8 hours (overnight).

Step 2

Pressure cook (3-4 whistles) kadala with 2 cups of water,salt,turmeric powder,chilly powder,coriander powder,garlic pod,onion and grated coconut.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and add red chillies,chopped tomato and masala powder.

Step 4

Stir till the tomato is mashed well(3-4minutes) and then add to the cooked kadala and mix well.

Step 5

:- Kadala Curry is ready!!!

Step 6

:- Serve the Kadala Curry hot!!!
