Step 1

For preparing kadhai mutton/kadai mutton/khadai ghost, first heat oil in a kadai and fry green chillies.

Step 2

When the color changes, take out the green chillies from oil and keep aside.

Step 3

In the remaining oil, fry the drained mutton pieces to a golden brown color till almost cooked.

Step 4

Remove the fried mutton pieces from kadai and keep aside.

Step 5

In the remaining oil, splutter cumin seeds. Add ginger-garlic paste, onion paste, chopped tomatoes and curry leaves. Saute for a while in low heat.

Step 6

When the tomatoes are nicely mashed, add garam masala, red chilly powder and required salt. Saute in low heat and add fried mutton pieces and bay leaves. Mix well.

Step 7

Add yogurt and cook till oil shows up on the surface.

Step 8

Add coriander powder, fried green chillies and close the kadai with a lid.

Step 9

Cook in low flame for 10 more minutes till the gravy acquires a thick consistency.

Step 10

Kadhai mutton/kadai mutton/khadai ghost recipe, a yummy mouthwatering dish, is ready. Serve hot and enjoy.
