Step 1

Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.

Step 2

Add chicken or mutton, tomatoes, red chilly powder, ginger & garlic pastes and chopped onions.

Step 3

Stir well and cook over medium flame, till the meat is quite tender.

Step 4

Add salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder and garam masala powder, and stir well and cook for some time, till the oil separates.

Step 5

Add yogurt and green chillies and let it cook for a few minutes on a medium fire.

Step 6

When it`s ready, remove from the pan into a serving dish.

Step 7

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and some ginger, julienned.

Step 8

If desired, sprinkle a little lemon juice over it.

Step 9

:- Serve hot with parathas.
