Step 1

Scale, clean and wash the fish thoroughly.

Step 2

Make deep slits on either side.

Step 3

Mix all the ingredients, except oil, and marinate the fish in this mixture for an hour and refrigerate.

Step 4

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 5

Shallow fry till done.

Step 6

:- Karimeen fry is ready. Serve hot.

Use pepper instead of green chilly..gives a nadan kerala taste...
