Ingredients

Step 1

Cut chicken into medium pieces.

Step 2

Marinate chicken pieces with 1 tsp of chilly powder, a pinch of turmeric powder and salt for 30 mins.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 4

Fry the marinated chicken, till it turns golden brown.

Step 5

Remove the chicken from the oil.

Step 6

Heat up the remaining oil in the same pan.

Step 7

Add onion, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves and fry, till golden brown.

Step 8

Add the remaining chilly powder , turmeric powder, coriander powder, masala powder and heat for a while.

Step 9

Put the fried chicken pieces into the pan along with coconut milk and mix well.

Step 10

Add salt to taste.

Step 11

Cook for few minutes, until the coconut milk is absorbed.

Step 12

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Step 13

:- Serve hot.

This recipe was awesome. The day that i prepared this dish we had guests at home and they loved it including my hubby. The only change i made to this dish is that along with the mentioned ingredients i marinated the chicken pieces with some coriander powder, ginger garlic paste and garam masala powder before frying it.
