English: Turmeric Powder
kannada: Arashina / Harasina Pudi
hindi: Haldi / Hardhar

Punjabi: Haldar / Haldi
Remove skin of mushroom and inner black layer.
Slice into thin pieces and wash it in cold water.
Mix together chopped mushrooms, turmeric, salt, thinly sliced green chillies and coconut.
Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
Fry sliced onion in it.
Add the above mixture.
Allow to steam for 7 - 10 mins.
:- Do not add water.
This recipe totally rocks. Very simple and easy to make. I would suggest to add half-teaspoon pepper powder for those who wants it more spicy. Will add extra taste.Anyway your recipe is very good in taste.
