Step 1

Cook big red peas and cucumber separately adding a bit of salt n turmeric powder.

Step 2

Grind coconut with garlic and jeera and add this to the cooked mixture of pumpkin and peas.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 4

Splutter mustard seeds and saute curry leaves.

Step 5

Add onion and a little bit of chilly powder.

Step 6

When onion turns golden brown, put the veg mix into the pan and mix it well.

Step 7

:- Serve hot.


it is easy to try.

Instead of Cucumber we can use Pumpkin also.. and similarly for "Van Payar" we can use Bengal Gram (Kadala).


whats with the pumpkin? I assume you meant the cucumber. The right veg for this is podalangai, a type of gourd. Ideally would be cooked with channa dal and fried at end.
