Heat a pan add oil in it when it gets hot add mustard and wait till it gets splutters.
Then add onion ,coconut and curry leaves to it. Stir for 2 minutes and keep it aside.
Then cook kovakka using little water ,salt ,turmeric powder and chilly powder.
When it gets cooked stir it well.
Then add the onion matter to it.
Stir well and keep for 2 minutes.
