For preparing lime with vanilla marble cake, sift maida and baking powder together. Keep it aside.
Beat butter and sugar till the sugar dissolves completely.
Add in eggs and beat it well.
Fold in the maida mixture slowly till mixed well.
Then add in lime essence, lime juice, salt and vanilla essence. Mix well.
Divide the mixture in equal portions and put it in separate bowls.
In one of the bowls add yellow colour and mix well.
Grease a cake tin.
Put alternate layers of the two portions in the cake tin. Take a thin stick and mix it slightly without mixing it completely.
Allow it to bake.
Let the cake cool completely, then remove it from the tin.
Lime with vanilla marble cake is ready.
