For preparing maida sweet, take a kadai and roast maida lightly in ghee. Keep this aside.
In a heavy pan, add sugar and three cups of water and bring to boil.
When the syrup reaches one thread consistency, add roasted maida to it slowly and stirring constantly.
Stir adding ghee till the mixture thickens.
Add rose essence, mix well and transfer the contents on to a greased plate and spread evenly.
Wait for 5 minutes, make small square pieces.
Maida sweet, a tasty recipe is ready.
