Directions

Step 1

For preparing malabar kannu pathiri, take a flat bottomed vessel and pour wheat flour and maida.

Step 2

Rub in butter and add required salt. Sprinkle sufficient luke warm water and make a stiff dough.

Step 3

Keep this dough aside for 30 minutes.

Step 4

Divide the dough into average sized balls and flatten these balls into thin rounds by sprinkling flour.

Step 5

Fold each side towards centre and deep fry the folded upward side first and then the bottom side.

Step 6

Repeat the same process with the remaining balls.

Step 7

Malabari kannu pathiri is ready and serve with any non vegetarian curry.
