Directions

Step 1

For preparing malpuas recipe, first boil milk over low flame, while stirring.

Step 2

Thicken till less than half its original volume and thick in consistency and keep it to cool.

Step 3

Dissolve sugar in 2-3 cups water. Keep aside 2 tbsp.

Step 4

Make into syrup of one thread consistency by boiling and pour into serving dish.

Step 5

Add flour and 2 tbsp. of sugar to the milk to thicken further. Stir till completely smooth.

Step 6

Mix well to form a batter of pouring consistency. Add more flour to adjust the consistency of the batter. If reqd, add a bit milk too.

Step 7

Heat ghee in deep frying pan.

Step 8

Pour one dessertspoonful of milk batter into ghee to form a circle.

Step 9

Fry slowly turning on both sides till brown.

Step 10

Drain and place in syrup to soak.

Step 11

Continue the procedure for the remaining batter.

Step 12

Garnish with a little chopped pistachios.

Step 13

:- Serve hot or chilled.

Step 14

Malpuas, a Diwali special dish, is ready.

thiz iz tasting excellent...but o speed up the process can use milk cream with flour instead of boiling it and skimming
