Blend together maida, ghee, ajwain and salt along with enough warm water to make a smooth and pliable dough.
Make small thin rounds off the dough.
Prick them on both sides with a fork.
Allow to dry a bit for 20-30 minutes.
Heat oil or ghee in a pan.
Deep fry a few at a time to a pale golden colour.
Drain thoroughly and allow it to cool.
