Step 1

Heat milk twice and add lemon juice to get the curd separated.

Step 2

Tie the curd in a muslin cloth to get rid of the moisture.

Step 3

Flatten it and cut into paneer cubes.

Step 4

Deep fry in oil till it becomes golden brown and keep it aside.

Step 5

Grind ginger, garlic, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom to a paste.

Step 6

Take a pan and heat 1 tbsp of oil.

Step 7

Add the chopped onions, ground masala, green pepper, tomatoes, chilly powder,coriander powder and fry well.

Step 8

Add peas, salt, soya sauce, coconut extract and cook till the peas are tender and gravy starts to thicken.

Step 9

Slip in the fried paneer and boil for 5 minutes.

Step 10

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Step 11

:-Serve hot with rotis.

after reading the recipe i also didnt think it will come out good.but it was good.but not so good for rice since it is little sweet.anyway thanx for the recipe

I was very hesitant to make this version of Mutter Paneer using soya sauce but it really turned out very good ! Quite easy to make too . Thnx Jayashi for the recipe.
