  • Fish : ½ k gm (chopped into small)
    Garlic : 1 pod (sliced)
    Garlic : 1 tsp (sliced)
    Curry leaves : few
    Chilli powder : 3 tsp
    Asafoetida : ¾ tsp
    Mustard : ½ tsp
    For marination:
    Chilli powder : 2 tsp
    Pepper : 1 tsp
    Salt : as reqd

Clean the fish and chop into small pieces.2) Marinate with salt, chilli powder and pepper. Keep it for 10 minutes.

Heat oil in kadai. Add the fish pieces and fry till done.

Drain and keep aside.5) In the same oil, fry garlic, ginger and curry leaves.6) Drain and keep it with fish pieces.

In the oil, add asafoetida, chilli powder and little salt.8) Add vinegar and mix well.9) Add fish pieces and mix well.

Tasty meen achar is ready.11) When warm, transfer it to a bottle and store.
