Step 1

For preparing mince potato pie, first preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit

Step 2

Cook the beef mince with water and salt in a pressure cooker till done.

Step 3

Drain the mince stock and keep it aside.

Step 4

In the same mince stock cook potatoes, green peas and carrot with salt. Drain the mince stock and Keep it aside.

Step 5

Mash the potatoes with a fork and keep it aside.

Step 6

In a vessel melt butter on low flame.

Step 7

Whisk in flour and pepper powder until smooth and allow it to cook for 1 minute.

Step 8

Slowly mix in the mince stock and worcestershire sauce until well blended. Allow it to boil and then simmer for 5 minutes mixing it frequently.

Step 9

Add in the mince, carrot and green peas. Allow it to simmer till all the water gets evaporated and keep this stuffing aside.

Step 10

Grease a baking dish.

Step 11

Spoon the mince stuffing at the bottom of the baking dish.

Step 12

Evenly spread mashed potatoes over the top and sprinkle shredded cheese.

Step 13

Bake it for 25 minutes until cheese begins to brown at the edges. Let pie stand 5 minutes for easier serving.

Step 14

Mince potato pie is ready.
