Step 1

Follow the method for preparing the plain idlis.(Pls refer the plain idli recipe)

2)Make plain idlis in a Mini idli stand and keep them aside.

Step 2

Beat curd with sugar and salt.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, followed by the red chillies and curry leaves.

Step 4

Add this seasoning into the beaten curd.

Step 5

Add the grated coconut into the curd and mix well.

Step 6

Finally, slip in the small idlis into the curd mixture.

Step 7

Transfer the contents into a serving bowl.

Step 8

Sprinkle a few coriander leaves.

Step 9

Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

Step 10

:-Makes 250-300 Mini Idlis (of size of Re. 1 coin)
