Directions

Step 1

In a thick pan, add mutton, mutton bones, 10 glasses of water, carrots, onions, bay leaves, pepper corns, salt and boil on low heat for 2 hours.

Step 2

When the water evaporates and becomes 6 glasses of water, remove from heat.

Step 3

Sieve and place in another bowl.

Step 4

To the above soup, add barley powder and cook until the soup thickens.

Step 5

Add salt and pepper powder to taste, boiled mutton pieces and cook for another 5 minutes.

Step 6

:- Serve hot.

Try garnishing with fresh coriander leaves before serving. It will make a remarkable change in taste. I have never used barley in soup earlier, and found it pretty good. Thanks.

Cook the mutton in pressure cooker. It makes quicker.

I tried this mutton soup in my house,it really tastes very good,me and my husband liked it very much.if we add ginger garlic paste &cumin powder to this mutton soup,it really tastes more better.

The mutton has to be boiled for 2 HOURS? Is it really "HOURS"?
