Directions

Step 1

Sieve the baking powder, salt and maida together.

Step 2

Melt the butter and add it to this.

Step 3

Mash it with your palm for about 15 minutes till it becomes fluffy.

Step 4

Add black cumin seeds or kala jeera.

Step 5

Make a well in the center of maida mixture and put milk, curd and spread fresh yeast on it.

Step 6

When the yeast starts bubbling, knead the mixture to make a slightly elastic dough. Keep it aside for 5-6 hours.

Step 7

Make 10-12 balls off the dough and make slightly thick rotis.

Step 8

Grill it in tandoor and polish with butter.

Step 9

:- Serve hot with Paneer Butter Masala.
:- Makes 10-12 medium size Naans.

Step 10

:- The naan can also be stuffed with mixed vegetables.

Sorry Sally ! this is one of the worst Naan, I have ate in my life, you can call this as a Kubus (Arabic Bread) not indian naan
