Directions

Step 1

Mash dalda without any lumps until it turns white.

Step 2

Add sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.

Step 3

Seive maida with baking soda.

Step 4

Add maida little by little to the dalda and make a smooth dough.

Step 5

Divide into lemon size balls.

Step 6

Bake in a pre heated oven at 180 for 45 minutes.

Isn`t the oven temperature important in this particular recipe?.A good soft nankattai is all about how you set the oven temperature. Please do specify the correct temperature in Celcius or Farenheit. Thanks in advance.

The recipe is 2 tasty , but my cookies burned out when i set at 180 c in my oven for 45 mins :(.

you have mentioned the recipe in avery simple way....but not specified abouy whether to bake in 180 degree celsius or farenheit.it seems a bit perplexing....
