Step 1

Wash the gooseberries, remove the seeds and cut them into small pieces.

Step 2

Chop green chillies, ginger and red onions into fine pieces.

Step 3

Mix the gooseberries with all the other ingredients and grind it without any water to a smooth paste.

Step 4

Heat oil in a kadai or a pan.

Step 5

Add mustard seeds and when they splutter, add curry leaves.

Step 6

Remove from fire and add it to the ground paste.
