Step 1

Boil onions in a vessel.

Step 2

Make a paste of the boiled onions, cashewnuts and poppy seeds.

Step 3

Heat ghee in a pan.

Step 4

Add garlic paste and saute for a min or so.

Step 5

Add coriander powder and chilly powder and saute till the poke goes.

Step 6

Add chopped tomatoes and saute.

Step 7

Add ginger, green chillies and coriander leaves. Saute for at least 5 minutes.

Step 8

Add the chicken pieces and mix well.

Step 9

Add salt as reqd.

Step 10

Cook chicken on low flame.

Step 11

Once chicken is cooked, add garam masala, kasoori methi and the boiled onion paste and mix well.

Step 12

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Excellent recipe, Instead of putting boiled onions, I tried it with fried onions and mixed it with the chicken curry at the end.It gave a delicious, yummy taste. Good work
