Step 1

Soak rajma overnight and cook them in a pressure cooker till soft so that it can be half mashed using a wooden ladle.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 3

Splutter cumin seeds.

Step 4

Add garlic and sautT till brown.

Step 5

Add ginger and sautT.

Step 6

Add onion and sautT well followed by green chilly.

Step 7

Add turmeric powder, chilly powder and coriander powder and sautT them.

Step 8

:- Reduce fire while adding spices.

Step 9

Add tomato and salt and sautT till oil appears and tomatoes are well cooked and mashed.

Step 10

Add cumin powder and rajma and cook on slow fire till done.

Step 11

Gently mash rajma using wooden ladle.

Step 12

:- Don¦t mash it too much.

Step 13

Garnish with plenty of coriander leaves.
