Start Slide Show

Step 1

Soak rice and dal separately for 6 hrs.

Step 2

Grind it into a fine paste and keep it overnight for fermentation.

Step 3 Paddu  Recipe

Step 3

Before preparing the paddu, add salt and a pinch of baking soda into the batter and mix well.

Step 4

Heat the chatti and grease it with oil.

Step 5 Paddu  Recipe

Step 5

Pour in a spoonful of batter into each section.

Step 6 Paddu  Recipe

Step 6

Wait till both the sides are cooked well and slight brown in colour.

Step 7 Paddu  Recipe

Step 7

:- Serve it hot with chutney of your choice or sauce.
