Step 1

For preparing parippu vada, soak toovar dal, urad dal and channa dal in water for 1/2 hour.

Step 2

Grind the soaked item with green chillies and red chillies.

Step 3

The batter should be in thick form.

Step 4

Add asafoetida, salt and curry leaves to the batter and mix it well.

Step 5

Roll the batter into a lemon size.

Step 6

Then flatten it to form a round shaped of about 3 cm diameter.

Step 7

Fry this in coconut oil

Step 8

Turn sides and cook well.

Step 9

Parippuvada is ready.
