Ingredients

Directions

Step 1

Chop the potaotes, carrots, cauliflower, green and red capsicum.

Step 2

Pressure cook them with salt, till it gets cooked(about 10 min).

Step 3

Drain the water and mash the vegetables, so that it becomes a fine paste. Keep it aside.

Step 4

Heat oil in a non-stick pan.

Step 5

Add mustard and cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.

Step 6

Add onions and fry, till it becomes translucent.

Step 7

Add Pav-bhaji masala powder, garlic-ginger paste, salt and red chilly powder.

Step 8

Add tomato paste or finely chopped tomatoes and cook for 5 min.

Step 9

Add the mashed vegetable paste and mix well.

Step 10

Add butter and lemon juice.

Step 11

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Step 12

Slightly toast the pav(burger buns) with butter on a tava.

Step 13

:- Serve with delicious pav-bhaji.

Yummy....my hubby liked it a lottt....since i dint have pav bhaji masala with me, i added tandoori masala...it came out really well....more recipes welcome!!!

hi, m living in US..i never cooked at my parents home.. but when i got married n came 2 Us i didnt have any idea how 2 cook...bt ur recipes really helped me a lot..now at every weekend i try different food at home n it really taste good..m realy thankful 2 u...n requesting u 2 keep giving such a good guidence in kitchen..

Hi, u`r receipe is very good and we can add peas,garam masala also. we will get pav bhaji masala in the stores but tell us how to prepare in the home.

Hello, The recipe is great. But u have not mention about making of pav bhaji masala. I mean how to make a pav bhaji masala. It is very hard to make pav bhaji untill u have pav bhaji masala. So pls tell me about it.

Reciepe is short and simple..but how do you prepare Pau Bhaaji masala?? You need to give a short reciepe of that too..Thanks..Regards.

Its excellent , but as we have heard ginger garlic and tikhaa (mirchi) is the base of PAV BHAJI u can increase the rartio of DIS stuff

Being a south-indian, cooking north indian dishes is not my expertise. I came across this reciepe and decided to give it a try. It was explained very well and to my surprise the pav bhaji turned out very good. Good job Vidhu and looking forward to see some more receipes from you.
