Step 1

For preparing peppery mussels, heat the oil in a pressure cooker and splutter mustard seeds.

Step 2

Saute the onions till golden brown in color

Step 3

Add ginger-garlic paste and fennel seed powder.

Step 4

Then add in the mussels.

Step 5

Sprinkle tomatoes, garam masala, cumin seeds, coriander powder, pepper powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well, close the lid and allow it to cook.

Step 6

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Step 7

Peppery mussels are ready. Serve hot with chappathis or roti`s.
