Step 1

Soak green gram in water.

Step 2

Grind it into a paste along with little salt and water.

Step 3

Make idlis using this batter.

Step 4

Once idlis are cooked, grate them.

Step 5

Add grated coconut to it.

Step 6

Heat water and sugar and make the sugar syrup, till we get strings.

Step 7

Add the grated mixture of idlis and coconut to this and make small size balls.

Step 8

Soak rice and black gram and make a paste of it.

Step 9

Dip the balls in the paste and fry them in oil.
