Step 1

For preparing pineapple pastry, fold in the powdered sugar with eggs. Beat it well till the sugar dissolves completely.

Step 2

Then add in maida, baking powder, essence and salt gradually, beating vigorously. Keep it aside.

Step 3

Drain the syrup from the canned pineapples and keep it aside.

Step 4

Grease a baking tray and arrange a butter paper in it.

Step 5

Put the butter on top and when it melts, arrange the pineapple slices, pour the cake batter over it and bake till well cooked.

Step 6

Remove and cool thoroughly before cutting into pastries.

Step 7

Pineapple pastry is ready. Serve with whipped cream.
