Step 1

For preparing pistachio kheer, in a bowl mix in 1/4 cup milk and corn flour. Mix it well avoiding lumps and keep aside.

Step 2

Boil remaining milk, add the corn flour milk mixture and mix it well continuously.

Step 3

Allow it to simmer for 10 minutes until it starts becoming thick.

Step 4

Add sugar and mix well until it is dissolved.

Step 5

Now add in the crushed pistachios and a drop of green colour to the boiling milk. Mix it well and allow it to boil for 5 more minutes.

Step 6

Sprinkle cardamom powder and salt. Mix well.

Step 7

Heat ghee in a small vessel and sautT the flaked pistachios.

Step 8

Garnish pistachio kheer with sauteed flaked pistachios and remove it from the flame.

Step 9

Allow it to cool for 5 minutes and place it in the fridge.

Step 10

Pistachio kheer is ready. Serve chilled.
