Directions

Step 1

For preparing poached apple in red wine, in a vessel boil in red wine, cinnamon, cloves, sugar, lemon zest and ripe vanilla.

Step 2

After it boils, toss in the apples and allow it to cook for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Then remove the apples and keep it aside.

Step 4

Allow the remaining wine mixture to boil with butter till it becomes half the quantity.

Step 5

Remove it from the flame.

Step 6

Poached apples are ready. Place the apples in each bowl, pour the red wine syrup over each apple and serve.
