Step 1

For preparing potato green gravy, blanch the spinach leaves and leave to cool.

Step 2

Grind the blanched spinach, coriander leaves and mint leaves into a smooth paste. Keep it aside.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 4

Saute onions, ginger, garlic and green chilies till it becomes light brown.

Step 5

Add chilly powder, coriander powder and 1 tsp of garam masala.

Step 6

Then pour the leaves paste, required water and potatoes into this pan.

Step 7

Allow the potatoes to cook.

Step 8

Then add fresh cream and stir. Lower the flame(don¦t let it boil).

Step 9

Garnish by sprinkling pepper powder and garam masala powder.

Step 10

Potato green gravy is ready. Serve hot with rice, bread, paratha etc.
