Step 1

For preparing potato in tomato gravy, heat oil in a pan.

Step 2

Splutter mustard seeds.

Step 3

Add the tomatoes, chilly powder and salt.

Step 4

SautT for 2 minutes on low flame till the tomatoes becomes soft.

Step 5

Add the curry leaves.

Step 6

Pour water and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes on low flame.

Step 7

Then add in the potatoes and allow it to cook on low flame.

Step 8

Add the coriander leaves and remove it from the flame.

Step 9

Potato in tomato gravy is ready. Serve hot with bread, chapatti, dosa etc.
