Directions

Step 1

First beat butter and shortening together.

Step 2

Add sugar and beat till fluffy.

Step 3

Now, add eggs one by one beating simultaneously. Stir in vanilla and beat again.

Step 4

Sieve flour with baking powder. Add the sieved flour, cream cheese and milk alternatively and mix well.

Step 5

Finally, add walnuts, color cherries and mix well.

Step 6

Transfer the cake mix into a greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 325 degrees for 80 minutes.

Step 7

Pound cake with walnut, a delicious tea time snack, is ready.
