Step 1

For preparing prawn coconut roast, heat oil in a vessel and splutter mustard seeds.

Step 2

Add in dry red chillies, 2 springs of curry leaves and ginger-garlic paste. Saute for 1 minute on low flame.

Step 3

Then toss in the onions and salt. Saute it till it becomes transparent on low flame.

Step 4

Add in kashmiri chilly powder, turmeric powder, 1 tsp pepper powder and coriander powder. Mix it well.

Step 5

Pour in the coconut milk and toss in the prawns. Mix well and allow it to cook with a closed lid.

Step 6

Remove the lid and allow it to simmer with curry leaves, coriander leaves and add remaining pepper powder.

Step 7

Drizzle 2 tbsp of coconut oil, mix it well and allow any remaining coconut milk to dry up.

Step 8

Prawn coconut roast is ready. Serve hot with cooked tapioca.
