Step 1

Make a paste of chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida and salt.

Step 2

Marinate the prawns with this paste for an hour.

Step 3

Peel the garlic and crush them gently.

Step 4

Fry the crushed garlic in a kadai in oil till brown.

Step 5

Add the marinate and fry for some time.

Step 6

Cover the kadai with a lid and lower the flame.
:- there is no need to add water since the prawns give out water.

Step 7

Allow it to cook while stirring frequently.

Step 8

When it becomes dry, remove from the flame.

Hi !! this is a wonderful recipe. i tried this. its too hot and spicy. i had never tried an indian dish before this. but this is too good !! i recommend all to try this. it has made a differnce sensation to my american taste buds. thanks !
