Step 1

Soak garbanzo beans in water for 4 - 5 hours.

Step 2

Soak soya chunks in hot water for 15 mins.

Step 3

Grind together garbanzo beans and soya chunks with a little water to form a coarse mixture.

Step 4

Mix together the finely chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, curry leaves, ginger and garlic.

Step 5

Add the ground mixture into it and mix well.

Step 6

Add salt and mix well again.

Step 7

Make small vadas off the mixture.

Step 8

Deep fry them in oil on a medium flame.

Step 9

:- Optionally, you can add 1/2 tsp of masala powder to the mixture too.
