Step 1

For preparing punjabi chola, soak the chick peas over night.

Step 2

Take a pressure cooker and cook the chick peas till soft.

Step 3

Grind cumin seeds, green chillies, chilly powder, garlic and turmeric powder.

Step 4

Fry onions and the ground paste.

Step 5

Add in the cooked chick peas and salt. Cook for 10 minutes.

Step 6

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Step 7

Punjabi chola is ready. Serve with chapathi, rice, bread, etc.
