Step 1

For preparing punjabi style kadhi recipe, mix ingredients for preparing pakoras: Gram flour, potato, onion, carom seeds. ginger, little water and required salt.

Step 2

Mix well and make small balls with the entire thick batter.

Step 3

Heat oil in a kadhai and fry pakoras to a golden brown color.

Step 4

For preparing kadhi, first beat yogurt and mix gram flour in it. Take care so that no lumps are formed.

Step 5

Add turmeric powder, required salt and 1 1/2 cup water. Keep this aside.

Step 6

Heat oil in a frying pan and splutter fenugreek seeds. Add red chilly and stir for a few seconds.

Step 7

Add yogurt mixture and simmer for 10 minutes

Step 8

Add red chily and fried pakors. Simmer in low flame for 10 minutes.

Step 9

Delicious punjabi style kadhi recipe is ready. Serve hot with steamed rice or chappatis.
