Kidney Beans(Raajmah) Curry

Step 1

Cook the fresh kidney beans in a pressure cooker and boil for 20 minutes in water.

Step 2

:- Please add the amounts accordingly. (Canned kidney beans are already cooked)

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 4

Add onions, curry leaves, bit of coriander, garlic and ginger paste, Raajmah powder, chilly powder, salt and turmeric powder.

Step 5

Allow it to cook for 5 minutes.

Step 6

Add tomato juice and allow it to boil, stirring ocassionally for 4 minutes. It`ll get the consistency of a paste.

Step 7

Add the freshly prepared kidney beans along with the water.

Step 8

Add garam masala and allow it to boil, stirring ocassionally for 5 to 6 minutes.

Step 9

Garnish with coriander leaves.
