Step 1

For preparing red cottage cheese curry, heat oil in a vessel, toss in the onions and garlic. Saute it over low flame till the onions become transparent.

Step 2

Add in the beetroot and garam masala. Saute it for 2 minutes.

Step 3

Then add in the cumin seeds and green chillies. Saute well.

Step 4

Put in coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, tomatoes and chilly powder. Mix it well and allow it to simmer with a little water till the beetroot is half done.

Step 5

Toss in the paneer cubes and allow it to simmer till done.

Step 6

Garnish with coriander leaves and curry leaves.

Step 7

Red cottage cheese curry is ready. Serve hot with vegetable pulao.
