Directions

Step 1

Mix together rice flour, gram flour, chilly powder, asafoetida powder, salt and butter.

Step 2

Take a little of this mixture and add water to it to get a dough like consistency.

Step 3

Heat oil in a kadai or a pan.

Step 4

:- To test if the oil is hot enough, drop a pinch of the dough into it. If it sinks, the oil isn`t hot enough. If the dough springs to the top with bubbles all around it, then the oil is ready.

Step 5

Take some of the dough and pass it through the special ribbon pakoda strainer into the hot oil.

Step 6

Deep fry till Ribbon pakoda turns golden brown.

Step 7

Keep flipping the sides till the ribbon pakoda is done.

Step 8

:- Store Ribbon pakoda in an air tight container.

Step 9

:- Enjoy the Ribbon pakoda.

This receipe was really good and i made it twice. Its mouth watering. There is no fault with the receipe. If it doesnot come out well then there is a problem with the maker and not the one who had posted the receipe.
