Ingredients

  • Ridge Gourd 1 cup
    small onion 15 no.
    red chili 1 no.
    curry leaves 6 no.
    crystal salt to taste
    sambhar powder 1 tsp
    oil 3 tsp
    urad dal 1/2 tsp
    mustard 1 tsp
    bengal gram 1/2 tsp
    Grated Coconut ¼ cup

peel the skin and chop the ridge gourd

in a pan heat the oil and temper the mustard, broken urad dal

add onion, curry leaves and red chili and saute it

add chopped ridge gourd, salt, sambhar powder, and one glass of water, mix well and allow to cook in medium flame until the water get dry and ridge gourd get cooked

once the water get dry, add grated coconut and mix well and turn off the flame
