Semiya Bagalabath is prepared just like curd rice and instead of rice semiya is used.It is easier and tastier option. .It tastes good when served chilled so i prepare much ahead of time and put it in the fridge garnished with a lot of fruits.It is so simple that even a ten year old can make it!!!

Ingredients

  • Roasted vermicelli 1 pack
    curd 1 cup
    onion 1 no.
    green chili 1 no.
    red chili 1 no.
    ginger small piece
    cashew 5 no.
    salt to taste
    mustard 1/4 tsp
    curry leaves 1 sprinkle
    grated carrot to garnish

Boil vermicelli in one and half cups water with a little salt and a tsp of oil.

chop the onion, green chili, red chili, cashews and ginger

heat the oil and temper the mustard, curry leaves and saute the onion, green chili, red chili, ginger and cashew

transfer to boiled vermicelli and mix it
