Step 1

For preparing shallots curry, heat oil in a pan.

Step 2

Saute turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder, ginger and salt for 1 minute.

Step 3

Add in the shallots and required water. Allow it to cook till it becomes tender.

Step 4

Mix in the tamarind pulp and jaggery. Allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Garnish with coriander leaves and remove it from the flame.

Step 6

Shallots curry is ready. Serve hot.
