Directions

Step 1

Peel off the skin of the plantains and put them in water.

Step 2

Pour sour curd into this water to get rid of the plantains¦ serum.

Step 3

Leave it aside for 30 mins.

Step 4

Strain the excess water off.

Step 5

Cut the plantains right from the middle into two and then into pieces of quarter inch size.

Step 6

Heat oil in a wide pan(preferably Urali).

Step 7

Bring it to boil.

Step 8

Slowly, put the cut pieces into the boiling oil.

Step 9

Once they are cooked and crisp, remove from the oil using a strainer.

Step 10

Dissolve jaggery in water and bring this to a boil.

Step 11

Stir continuously, till it`s consistency gets thick.

Step 12

:- Make sure that it doesn¦t get too thick.

Step 13

Slowly, put the fried plantains into this and mix well.

Step 14

Add powdered cardamom, dry ginger, cumin seeds and ghee into this and mix well.
