A very different way of cooking the vegetable. It tastes very good and goes great with rotis. I reduced the quantity of coconut and increased the onions and used sunflower oil instead of castor oil. The dish turned out great. Will make it often. Thanks!

good, simple, economical and delicious recipe. worth trying !! (castor oil helps to reduce body heat. nothing harm in using them in cooking. In fact i use them frequently for cooking all types of lentils.)

Very good indeed. Thanks. But I was not sure of Castor oil. So used the til oil instead. Castor oil is also used for constipation patients to clean stomach. So was scared to use it. Please clarify.
