Very easy to prepare chappathis

Bengali: Laban / Noone
Boil water with butter and salt.
When the water starts boiling, simmer the flame and add maida flour and stir with a laddle or wooden stick for 30 seconds min.
:- It forms hard round dough by absorbing the water.
Turn off the flame.
Knead it well and make small balls off it.
Roll them into chappathis and cook them on a tawa.

After my last comment, I re tried therecipe..Yes Yes I did. I thought there`s quite a number of ppl who liked it so maybe I did it wrong. I had done it wrong. Kept it too long on the stove. This time I took it off in a few secs. Kneaded it and kept it aside fr a while. Came out really soft. One problem though...was very difficult for me to roll it. My husband had to roll them for me. Was too tough.
I tried this and it was a disaster. Waste of chappati flour. I followed instructions but when done felt that the flour was semi cooked in the water. Was hard and not folding together to knead it.
Spent more time cooking again the traditional way!

i prepared with wheat flour..it was cotton soft..thnx very much
Any one knows that with Maida it will be softer. But chappathis are chappathis when made with Wheat flour. So please submit some better recipes.
